Viola Carpenter is a farm girl at heart, married to a woodsman, and together they have raised their nine children in Northern Belize, where they run a cabinet shop and seek to follow the Lord in everyday life. Now a grandmother and past her own childbearing years, Viola writes from a place of lived experience, faith, and deep compassion for mothers.
With a passion for writing, music, midwifery, and natural medicine, Viola has devoted much of her life to encouraging and nurturing women—especially expectant mothers who feel fearful, overwhelmed, or alone in the journey of pregnancy and birth. She believes that motherhood is not only a physical calling, but a deeply spiritual one, and that expectant mothers are channels chosen to bring life into this world.
Through her writing and everyday ministry, Viola longs to help women encounter the reality of God’s presence and discover that He desires an intimate friendship with each one of us. Her heart is to remind mothers that they are seen, carried, and gently led by the Lord through every season of motherhood.
Rooted in the promise of Isaiah 66:9, Viola shares messages of faith, peace, and hope for women preparing to welcome new life. Through her family’s marketplace ministry, she continues to shine the light of Jesus in a world that desperately needs His love and truth.
